Richard F. Stevenson joined Schlagel Gordon & Kinzer, LLC in 2003 and was made a member in 2006. Rich is a graduate of the University Kansas and Washburn University School of Law. While in law school, Rich was the recipient of the Outstanding Legal Intern Award from the Washburn University Law Clinic.
Rich’s practice focuses on law in the following areas: corporations and business organizations, debtor-creditor, Uniform Commercial Code, construction, mechanics’ liens, bonding, insurance and personal injury. He is experienced in all aspects of corporate transactional law and has assisted a variety of corporate and partnership business clients with entity formation, contract negotiation, drafting and review of business agreements and employment agreements, as well as assisting with risk management and compliance issues and handling merger and acquisition matters. In addition, Rich has experience in construction and lien litigation and is adept at complex research and writing projects, including appellate briefing.
Rich is a member of the Johnson County, Kansas City Metropolitan, Kansas, Missouri and American Bar Associations, as well as the U.S. Court of Federal Claims Bar Association and the Kansas Trial Lawyers Association. |
