Schlagel Gordon & Kinzer, LLC utilizes the services of a certified paralegal, particularly in our litigation and estate planning practice. A paralegal is a professional who works under an attorney’s guidance and who often has responsibility for maintaining a client’s file, drafting initial legal documents, and communicating with the client about basic case information.  The first communication a client may have with SGK may be with one of the firm’s paralegals.

Although neither a certified paralegal nor a paralegal can offer legal advice, they play an integral role in each case.  SGK is aware of the escalating costs of legal services and attempts to control those costs, in part, through use of paralegal services when and where possible.
