Jean R. Seeber joined Schlagel Gordon & Kinzer, LLC as an associate in 2007.  Jean attended the University of Kansas and earned two bachelor degrees, a Bachelor of Arts in Communications Studies and a Bachelor of Science in Journalism.  Jean is a graduate of the Washburn University School of Law and she worked for one year as a volunteer attorney at the Tenth Judicial Public Defender’s Office in Olathe, Kansas.  After the year of volunteer work, Jean joined the Circuit Court of Jackson County, Missouri and served for seven years as an Attorney for the Juvenile Officer of Jackson County, Missouri, conducting the prosecution and civil litigation aspects of both child abuse and neglect cases and juvenile offender cases.  Jean was then employed for four years as an Assistant City Attorney, in the Prosecution Division of the Law Department, for the City of Overland Park, Kansas.  At the City of Overland Park, Jean was primarily a criminal prosecutor; she also litigated a variety of municipal issues and ordinance violations.

In joining SGK, Jean has taken her years of substantial litigation experience and skills and focused her practice on civil, commercial, contract and estate litigation.  She is a member of the Johnson County, Kansas and Missouri Bar Associations.
